Commissioned by the Winthrop University Percussion Ensemble, In Perpetuum... contains densely scored blocks of sound alternating with silence and triadic harmony. Slowly evolving passages and expressive melody unfold in a fragmented form. In Perpetuum... requires 12 percussionists who at times, play on six marimbas, two per instrument.
