Commissioned by the Winthrop University Percussion Ensemble, In Perpetuum... is a montage of densely scored blocks of sound alternating with silence and triadic harmony, slowly evolving minimalistic passages, and expressive melody. In Perpetuum... requires 12 percussionists who at times, play on six marimbas, two per instrument.
